About us

                  

Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Library (Knowledge Resource Center) is the central library of Sadguru College of Agriculture & Allied Agriculture, Mirajgaon. Established in 2009, the library is named in honour of the founder of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Gramin Vikas Pratishthan, Mirajgaon.

The library has an excellent collection of books covering B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Tech. programmes, allied agricultural sciences, animal husbandry, dairy science, and other related disciplines. It also provides access to journals, periodicals, and non-book learning resources in digital formats, including CD-ROMs.

The library plays a vital role in acquiring, organizing, preserving, and disseminating knowledge resources to support teaching, learning, and research activities. It is equipped with modern infrastructure and an automated library management system powered by Koha Library Software. Barcode technology is used for efficient book circulation and transaction management.

Digital Library

An important component of the library is its Digital Library, equipped with 15 computers connected to the internet, enabling students and faculty members to access worldwide information and digital learning resources. A variety of professional e-journals is available to faculty members, students, and research scholars to support their academic and research requirements.

Library Reading Hall

The library provides a spacious Reading Hall facility with a seating capacity of more than 100 students. Its peaceful atmosphere and excellent learning environment encourage students to concentrate on their studies and enhance their academic performance.

To facilitate easy and timely access to the right information through books, journals, periodicals, and digital resources, thereby supporting the academic, teaching, learning, and research needs of students and faculty members.
